Advantage Announces Business Travel Conference Breakout Sessions

The Business Travel content for the Advantage Conference in Malta is based on three principles. Learning, Understanding and Implementing.

Host a corporate
For the first time ever, Advantage Business Travel members are being invited to “host a corporate” by offering a business client the opportunity to see how our TMC members benefit from their membership of Advantage and to experience the business sessions on offer. This is currently limited to one corporate per agency.

Learning
Rising Star. A member of the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) explains what corporate buyers wish from their TMC and suppliers. An insight into new thinking and changes in the way companies arrange their travel policies.

Understanding
The Changing Airline Model. A legacy carrier, a low cost airline and a pseudo airline discuss the merits of the way airlines use their different models to maximise return, and how each can work with the trade.

On the Rails. Representatives from the rail industry discuss the future of HS2 and the challenge posed by the new franchise agreements which will cover a 14-year period to allow long term investment.

Implementing
Rise of the Phoenix. This session will look at Advantage’s collaboration with the Institute of Travel and Meetings (ITM) in launching ITM Phoenix, which won the David Brown Outstanding Achievement Award at the Business Travel Awards on 23 January 2012. A service update facility which draws on a host of suppliers within the travel industry to provide the latest information, not just in times of crisis, but 24 hours a day.

Still more to come…
Additional presentations will look at the Advantage Business Travel Survey of members, leading to a session on the company being challenged to “step up” to the next level hosted by industry experts, plus specific advice on the Hotel and Accommodation market.

But you have to be there to take part so register today!
